| Biography |
Claire herself is 48 (but often feels more like
848). She was born in Birmingham and
bought up in Worcestershire. She went to
Coventry (no, she wasn't 'sent') to further
her education at the age of 16, where she
still lives now with the addition of one of her
two children (and her dog).
Friends say she's mad (like it's a bad thing),
she does have a 'different' view on life. She
is positive, friendly, a realist, logical, relaxed,
patient, adaptable, creative and obviously
artistic. If she says she'll do something she
does it and she speaks her mind (which has
got her into trouble on occasion). She also
has what has been described as a 'wicked'
sense of humour. Claire would say that she
just sees the irony in what life throws at us.
Claire can be sensitive, intuitive, empathic
call it what you will, it sometimes freaks
people out.
She loves: music (in fact she says she
couldn't live without it) and has a wide taste,
music lyrics, interesting conversations,
learning something new, films/DVDs,
reading, gigs, Terry Pratchett, anything by
Ade Edmundson & Rik Mayall, Desiderata
(Max Ermann). Claire is fascinated by
Vampyres, the dark, witchcraft, mythical,
magikal, supernatural, people,
thunderstorms, bikes (motorcycles) to name
a few.
Between the raising of her two children, her
art and other interests, she has still somehow
managed to design & create cards for most
holidays/birthdays and works voluntarily at
THT (The Terrence Higgings Trust).
